My Journey from Struggle to Success:
I used to feel like I had no purpose...
I remember sitting on my couch 5+ years ago with my sister telling her "I had no purpose" and that "just teaching yoga" will never be something I can do full-time let alone sustain myself financially.
I was completely lost, defeated, and depressed - stuck in a 9-5 corporate job I hated and couldn't see my way out of it anytime soon. I couldn't understand how other yoga teachers were doing what they loved full-time AND making a living from it. Honestly, it seemed way too good to be true. I didn't have many followers on social media, I was hardly teaching in studio classes, and I didn't know the first thing about starting my own business as I didn't grow up around entrepreneurs.
Until I had a lightbulb moment...
"WHY DON'T I HOST RETREATS?" I said to my bestie as I shot up out of my chair. She looked at me confused, like ok...
I went on to share with her that I have a passion for travel and a passion for teaching... it felt like a calling, so I said why not?!
I had ZERO idea what I was doing and fumbled many times along the way, but I HAD to expand my vision + perspective in order to really create change in my life.
So I went for it...
I launched my first retreat because I BELIEVED this was not just a light bulb moment, but a calling of something bigger I was being led to do (and it was). With a very little social media following, I SOLD OUT MY FIRST RETREAT IN 1 WEEK.
How? I put my whole damn heart and soul into it and answered the call.
Have launching retreats always sold out in 1 week? NO - absolutely not. But having now led 20+ of them AROUND THE WORLD, I can say that I have perfected and created a roadmap to success that is worth sharing. I went through the stumbles and fumbles so you don't have to. Honestly, I wish I had this program when I first started!!
SO LISTEN… Wherever you are on your journey, you are not stuck. Nothing is permanent, anything is possible. I never in a million years thought I would be here living my absolute dream and running a 6-figure business from NOTHING (aside from a blood, sweat and tears). No handouts! I grew up working 4 jobs at a time sometimes and running myself into the ground to make ends meet and pay my bills starting at 15 years old.
